After I log on to the IGSS Portal in my web browser, I’m missing the header bitmap and some of the buttons in the menus underneath. What has gone wrong with my installation?
You have probably installed Windows updates somewhere along the line, either before or at some time after you installed the Portal software. Included in these Windows updates is the .NET Framework v.1.1, which also comes in with the update install. It’s highly probable that it’s this .NET Framework software which is the problem.
Remedial action is to uninstall the .NET Framework v.1.1 software and the IGSS Portal should then work properly. The .NET software is not a security update and therefore there is no risk involved in removing it.
If the Portal still doesn’t appear correctly, then we recommend going into a command prompt (DOS box) and executing the following command:
Now the Portal should be functional again.
