IGSS cannot find my printer

FAQ Question

When generating an IGSS report (Snapshot, Periodical or Alarm Statistics), I get the message “Failed to render the report. Make sure you have a printer defined in your system, and sufficient memory and disk space”. This happens both when I’m trying to print or preview the report.

Answer

The message is misleading. The cause of the problem is a wrong reference to the logo in the report header. The solution is to start the System Configuration program and go to the Reports tab. The filename in the field Report logo file should be “7-tlogo.jpg” not “7tlogo.bmp”.
