In Notifier Alarm Options I have specified that “Repeat alarm to primary for duty plans with cycled alarms every: 5 minutes.” But the alarm is only sent when it begins and when the entire alarm process is restarted.
Answer
The typical reason for this is that the duty plan itself has not been marked to cycle alarms.
Mark the duty plan in the calendar and select the “Cycle alarms”, a small bell with an arrow should appear on the duty.
The reason that Notifier does not just repeat alarms at all times, is that the feature is designed to be used at night time duties. At that time you typically want to get an extra message, before involving the backup operator.
