Interface Description

IGSS32 offers an interface for connecting to equipment using CMM communication protocol. CMM is an asyncronious serial protocol developed for remote operation pumps, ventilators etc.

All communication to the CMM is via modem. The CMM can be configured for dialing into the IGSS32 system in case of an alarm. These alarms can for example be process-alarms.
The IGSS32 communication interface can be configured to poll the CMM equipment periodically or at fixed points in time.
