Update cells in the Property Table View form

You can update the properties for one or more descriptors at the same time in the Property Table View form instead of opening the Object Properties form for each object or descriptor and then updating the properties one by one.

Any changes made to an object or descriptor property are submitted once the property (cell) is exited in the right pane of the form.

You can undo your update by clicking EditUndo or pressing CTRL +Z.

Be careful when mass-updating content in the Property Table View form. It is easy to inadvertently insert incorrect content. Since the Property Table View form updates directly when the cells are exited, object and descriptor property values will be updated nearly automatically. If many changes are made, the undo buffer will most often be overfilled and you will not be able step your way through a series of undo functions to reinstate the property values in the case of an error.

Create a backup of the configuration prior to pasting or mass-updating property values in the Property Table View form. Another suggestion is to treat the mass-updating or pasting of content into the Property Table View form as one work flow and not do mix this with other work being done in the Definition module.
