Export Property Table View content

The content of the Property Table View form can be exported to comma-separated (.CSV) file and then loaded in another 3rd party program, for example Microsoft Word or Excel or a text-editor program such as Notepad.

You cannot import content into the Property Table View form.

Column headers are included in the export and when selecting cells and columns to export, the first (grey) column will always be included in the export.

You can also select columns or cells, copy them to the Windows clipboard and then insert the clipboard contents in another 3rd party program.

To export content from the Property Table View form:

  1. In the left pane of the Property Table View form, navigate to the menu item containing the cells you want to export.
  2. In the right pane, locate the property you want to export by finding the object name in the rows and the object or descriptor property in the columns.

You can also filter the columns to gain a better overview of the properties.

  3. Select the cells to be copied and click FileExport as CSV to open the Save As form.

You can select entire columns by selecting the column headers.

  4. Navigate to the location you want to create the .CSV file and click the Save button.
  5. Open the .CSV file in another 3rd party program to conduct the necessary analysis of the content.
