Adjust descriptor position and size using the Property Table Viewer
You can use the Property Table Viewer to change the position and the size of one or more descriptors.
The Property Table Viewer allows you to edit the values of any , but you must remember to select and position any additionally displayed object information such as object name, state/value, description, units, time stamps and/or Atoms in OPC server when re-positioning a descriptor in order to display object information with the descriptor.
- To open the Property Table Viewer, in the Definition module, click Diagram > Property Table View, press CTRL+H or right-click in the diagram and select Property Table View.
- In the left-pane of the Property Table Viewer, click Descriptors to display all the descriptors in the diagram.
- To change the position of a descriptor, select the descriptor and in the Pos. X and Pos. Y columns, enter new X and Y coordinates respectively.
- To re-size a descriptor, select the descriptor and in the Width and Height columns, enter new the width and height respectively. Some descriptors cannot be re-sized in this fashion, e.g. object symbols.
- You can change the position and size of multiple descriptors in the Property Table Viewer by selecting the descriptor rows in the column you want to edit values for (Pos. X, Pos. Y, Width or Height column) and entering the new value. Press Return to submit the new value for all the selected descriptors.
