Protecting objects in Definition
- Before you go through this procedure, we recommend that you read the Introducing the Protect object topic.
- Identify the objects you want to protect.
- In a new project, mark up the objects in the data list so that you remember to protect them. In an existing project, print the object list from the Object Browser and mark up the objects.
- If needed, define additional Protect objects. In most cases, the predefined Protect object will provide enough flexibility. However, if you need more flexibility, click here for an example.
- Make sure that the security level is set correctly.
