Can move diagram
With the possibility to create diagrams with a thin frame and no title bar, a problem arise when the operator needs to move a diagram/popup/faceplate around in Supervise in order to see or operate on other elements in the background. To solve this, the descriptor property Can move diagram feature can be used.
When set to Yes the entire diagram/popup/faceplacte will move when dragging the descriptor in Supervise.
The Can move diagram feature applies for following descriptors: Text, Rectangle, Polygon, Ellipse and Image.
The Can move diagram property is located in descriptor Properties -> Miscellaneous. Default setting is 'No'.
By combining this feature with button actions, the diagrams look and feel can be designed with great freedom.
The Can move diagram properties should be added to elements that the operator intuitively will use to drag the diagram/popup/faceplate, e.g. a Rectangle and a Text in a custom drawn title bar like below. Another example could be use of images with arrows to indicate the possibility of dragging/moving a diagram.
