To define display options
Depending on the object type,
some options will be disabled. Simply skip these steps in the procedure.
- In the Show group, decide what you want to
show along with the object descriptor:
- Select in the Label group, if you want to show name and/or description and /or name.
- In the Anchor group, select if you want the text inside the labels to be left or right aligned or centred.
- In the State / Value group, you can freely
select which value you want to show. Typically, this will be the current
process value or state, but you may want to show e.g. the set point or
an alarm limit for an analog object. You can also define prefix format and field width.

If Tooltips is selected, a tooltip text will appear on mouse-over and display the object name and the object description (if defined for the object).
- In the Font group, you can change the font,
font size, font color, etc.
- In the Symbol group, you can choose the following options:
To prevent the operator from selecting this symbol, clear the Selectable
check box.
- Select the Locked check box to prevent the from being selected in the Definition module. NB! You cannot access the Object Properties form for a descriptor that has been locked.
- Select Double click properties to open the Object Properties form in the Supervise module when an operator double clicks the descriptor.
Select Popup menu to open the object menu in the Supervise module when an operator right clicks the descriptor.
Select Commands in popup menu to have all commands defined for the object shown in the object menu in the Supervise module when an operator right clicks the descriptor.
- In the Alarm indication group, you can decide
where you want an alarm indication to be shown: On the object symbol, name, value or no display in the referencing diagram.
- In the Availability group you to define if the object should be visible in OPC server or read only in OPC server and visible in the IGSS Mobile app.
